I don't know whether these guys are sloppy or just don't care - but when you check the email web site from a purported "SEO" (Search Engine Optimization) company and you see this - you know something is wrong!
This was where the "SEO company's" email URL went to.
That URL is this (mocking and arrogant) hacker site.
When one of my companies get's an email that says there is something wrong with our site, and offers help - as a veteran website creator and SEO expert I know something is wrong.
The email is reprinted in full below - beware if you get one and tell your staff not to click on anything. Do not reply to it. One easy way to spot that this email is not legit from the beginning is there is no "unsubscribe" link. It is illegal to send unsolicited emails marketing anything without this link in the United States. However, if there was one, I would recommend you don't click on it.
The mangled grammar is also a way to spot one of these. You can see that English must not be the writer's first language. Other than stripping out any possible behind the scenes code, I have reprinted it in full here:
