Now that CGI seems to be a part of every movie, even ones without robots or time warps in space - you just don't see it coming until it is too late.
I am speaking in particular of the fake CGI breath in cold weather. Really bad, distracting. Just be way more subtle til you get this down people.
Also, the fake blur (making the background or other elements fake out of focus) on the Crew racing scenes.
All I can think is that on someone's monitors that these effects look great. On a big screen however - it doesn't hold up. The fake blurring out of focusy thing just isn't visually correct (I am sure you will get this worked out eventually, but in the meantime, use some restraint). It doesn't fool anybody and the human eye in a theater has trouble processing the weird blur configurations.
